Functions Hire
Albert Park Bowls Club’s facilities are available for hire to conduct a bowling event with associated social activity. We offer the use of our bowling green and clubroom as a package.
We do not provide a catering service but are happy to work with the caterer of your choice or you can self cater. We offer the use of our barbecues for a small additional charge.
The consumption of alcohol, which must be provided by the Club, must be in strict accordance with our permit.
Group Size
The Club is available for hire only as a complete package (green and clubhouse). We can accommodate groups of between 40 and 100 guests. All functions must be primarily bowls-related. The clubhouse and bowling rinks are not available separately. Pricing for the complete facilty hire is based on group size and function length. Please see our pricing page for details.
Guests must sign in by providing name and address for liquor licence purposes. We will arrange for a Club Member to be in attendance. Hirers must identify a responsible person.
The Club will provide coaching guidance to new bowlers and the requisite equipment – bowls, mats, jacks, scorecards, etc.
All bowlers must wear flat-soled shoes or be bare-footed while on the bowling green.
All attendees will be asked to respect the Green Rules and be mindful of our neighbours, especially when arriving and leaving.

Alcohol Policy
The Club’s Liquor Licence does NOT allow BYO. We supply liquor to members and guests at competitive prices and in accordance with our licence. Designated Bowls Club personnel, trained in the Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA), will provide bar service.
Consumption of alcohol around the green or on the apron outside the clubroom will cease at dusk or 8pm on Sunday, or 9pm any other day, whichever is earlier. Any drinks or empty drink containers that are outdoors should be brought into the clubroom.
Child Policy
All children must be under parental supervision at all times. No child under the age of 12 will be permitted on the bowling rinks in view of the potential Health and Safety risk.
No one under the age of 18 shall be permitted to consume alcohol. Age check may be requested.
