Grounds and Green Maintenance
- Bi-weekly cleaning of green and surrounds with seasonal challenges including
- Acorns from surrounding oak trees during April/May
- Leaf litter during winter months from surrounding trees
- Pollen ferrules and cypress needles which embed in the carpet during Sept/Oct
- Maintenance of equipment including Billygoat vacuum and Battery powered blowers
- Cleaning and tidying of external clubhouse, equipment shed and seating around club, including weekly rubbish and recycling materials removal
- Preparation of green to Bowls Vic A1 standard each season including green marking, precision positioning of rink markers and boundary pegs
- Management of external cleaning contract involving quarterly fungicide treatment
